Profile
Edit your name, username, bio, and see your account activity.
Open Account → Profile to manage your account details. Click Edit Profile, make your changes, then Save Changes.
What you can edit
- First and last name
- Username — generated for you at signup; change it here
- Bio — up to 500 characters
- Location and website
Username rules
- 3–30 characters
- Letters, numbers, and underscores only
- Can't start with a number
- Must not already be taken, and some names are reserved
What you can't edit
- Email — your email address can't be changed once the account exists.
- Account deletion — there's no self-service deletion yet. To have an account removed, open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Help & Support.
Your public name and bio in Community are set separately, under Account → Community.
Account activity
The profile page also shows read-only details: when you joined, your account status, whether your email is verified, credits earned and spent, and stories created.
Email verified shows Yes, Not verified, or No email on file.
Email not verified?
If Email verified shows Not verified, your 1,000 free signup credits haven't been granted yet. Click Resend email under it to get a new verification link, then open it from your inbox. After a resend, the button waits a minute before you can send another. See Create your account.
