Quickstart
From idea to generated shots in one sitting.
This walkthrough takes you from a blank account to a story with scenes, shots, and generated visuals. Budget 15–30 minutes and a few hundred credits.
1. Start from Home
After signing in you land on Home — the launchpad for every tool. If it's your first visit, a short tour points out the essentials. Your credit balance is always visible in the header at the top of the page.
2. Create a story in AI Studio
Click AI Studio. You have two ways in:
- Describe your idea — a sentence or two is enough. The agent develops it into a film with you through chat.
- Attach a screenplay — PDF, DOCX, TXT or Fountain, up to 2 MB. The agent reads it and builds the structure for you. See Uploading a screenplay for format details.
Leave the mode on Manual to direct each step yourself, or pick Auto and set a credit budget to let the agent build the whole film on its own. See Manual and Auto.
3. Watch the agent build your structure
You land in the story editor: chat on the left, your Scene List in the center, characters on the right. The agent starts working immediately — for bigger jobs its plan appears as a task list above the chat while scenes populate.

4. Review and refine
- Toggle between List view and Storyboard view.
- Drag scenes to reorder; expand a scene to edit its title, description, and shots.
- Ask the chat for changes in plain language: "make scene 4 more tense", "trim the dialogue in scene 2", "analyze the pacing". See AI Studio for everything the agent can do.
5. Build your cast on the Moodboard
Click + on the character rail to open the story's Moodboard. Upload reference images, generate new ones, or use Auto-generate to build a full board from your screenplay. For a consistent look across generations, you can train a custom LoRA model.
6. Generate images and video for shots
The agent designs a shot list for each scene — ask it to "design the shots for scene 3" if it hasn't yet. Each shot carries real cinematography fields — shot size, camera movement, composition, lighting, sound — plus image and video prompts. Ask the agent to render them, or open a shot and click Generate Image or Generate Video yourself. Credits are held when a generation starts and refunded automatically if it fails.
7. Assemble and export
- Review All Scenes collects every generated video into a reorderable sequence you can combine into one cut.
- Export PDF produces a professional shot-breakdown document.
